Key Foundaiton Breeder

One of the key breeding hens from the loft of Ludo Claessens of Holland.  In 1999 I decided to

buy Ludo's very best no matter what the cost was.  So I went to visit Ludo with a few friends and

Ludo talked and showed us his very best breeders.  I handled them all and took notes on what he

and I thought were his very best.  A couple of months later I went back to visit Ludo, mentioned

the ring numbers of the birds I liked on the previous visit and asked for a price.  It was tough to

bargain with Ludo  but after several hours (and some heated discussions) the key breeders were

mine - Olympia Queen, De Juf, Vosje 90.  These three girls were coming to America to join in with

Ludo's key breeding males - Late Rode 430, Vos 77 and Silver Boy.

Olympia Queen is a medium size, strong body, rich eyed, very beautiful top foundation breeder.

It's hard to describe the quality of these champions on paper.  She bred 8 different 1st prize winners

and is the grandmother to more than 30 top foundation breeders.  You can't ask for any more.  Most

lofts  never have the opportunity to experience a hen of this quality.  Olympia Queen is a full sister

to Late Rode 430 (NL 8926430-89) who bred Red Devil (NL 9014050-90) - a multiple 1st prize winner.

Red Devil then bred:  NL 9187783-91, winner of 1st Golden Crack Award.  Another son of the Late

Rode 430 won 1st Chateauroux vs 2069 birds, 2nd Tours vs 1883 birds, 2nd Limoges vs 1981 birds,

6th La Souterraine vs 2404 birds.  Another son, Silver Boy, won 1st Prov. Chateauroux vs 2060 birds

and sired 10 top winners.  Olympia Queen and her family are key members of my breeding program.
