           3rd, 4th, 32nd Place I.F. Convention Race 2000 -  Nov. 10, 2000.  300 miles, 1074 birds

                      (lost by seconds!)  3rd Place winner was GFL 65-2000, a granddaughter of Super Crack

                      Olympiade  699.  4th Place winner was GFL 380-2000, a grandson of The Godfather.

First time in the history of the Snow Bird races that the same person has won the Snow Bird
Classic and the Snow Bird Futurity in the same year!!!
  

           1st Place Snow Bird Classic 2000  -  Nov. 18, 2000.  400 miles, 623 birds.  GFL 301-2000 -

                       Bred by Mike Ganus and Bill Ensign of Las Vegas.  Sire: Janssen cock of Bill Ensign's

                       with the dam: daughter of The President.   Also winning 1st Place in the Snow Bird     

                       Classic was Ed Tangonan - his bird clocking exactly the same time on the Benzing clock
                       as GFL 301-2000.  Ed's winning bird this year was a full brother to his last year's winner of 
                       the Snow Bird Classic - their grandfather was a GFL bird.            
      
           1st Place Snow Bird Futurity 2000 - December 9, 2000.  400 miles, 606 birds.  GFL 588-2000 -
                        "Lady Holiday".  Daughter of Millennium and Alexis.

                        Super Crack Olympiade 699.

    Over the years GFL birds have proven their dominance by topping the race sheets all over the country,
    scoring in major national races,  dominating national awards, winning sizeable monetary awards.  It
    would be totally impossible to mention or list the achievements of every fancier that has contacted us
    informing us of their race results.  Some fanciers compete in areas with a limited number of fanciers
    while others are fortunate enough to live in metropolitan areas with more competition.  Regardless of
    the competition, GFL is proud to have helped these fanciers work their way to the top of the race sheet.
       
    One of the best ways to gauge the success of GFL birds is to glance through the various publications
    where fanciers have printed their achievements with GFL stock through ads and articles and where
    prestigious race results are reported.  The following items from publications highlight some of our
    accomplishments.  We have also summarized some of the 1998 and 1999 results reported to us
    from fanciers all over the United States in the following table.
